Sexual health services
Our services offered:
- Intrauterine devices (IUDs or coils) (registered practice patients and unregistered Birmingham patients)
- Contraceptive implants (registered practice patients and unregistered Birmingham patients)
- Contraception advice
- Prescribing of contraceptives
- Free condoms as part of a sexual health consultation (please contact for details)
- Advice about emergency hormonal contraception (EHC or “morning after pill”), and prescribing where appropriate

Other services
Minor surgery
We undertake minor surgery operations and wart treatment at the surgery. Please ask your doctor to find out whether this would be suitable for you.
Joint injection clinics
We will inject most joints if needed including tennis elbows and ganglions. Please ask your doctor to find out whether this would be suitable for you.
Phlebotomists
A Phlebotomist currently attends all sites.
Modality
Modality are an establishment that come from the hospital and conduct some of their clinics here, which include Gynaecology, Audiology, ENT, Ultra sound and Respiratory. Although they perform some of their clinics here, they are a separate entity to us. They may call patients from our phone number (0121 389 2222) which would make the outgoing call from us when it may be from them. The Oaks reception direct you the correct way to their main switchboard number (03300 417475) which you can get through to any 5 of their departments. If you receive a call from The Oaks number, we are more than happy to assist and direct you to the correct contacts.
